The Professional Summit

The Professional Summit brings thoughtful and action-oriented professionals together around Business As Mission. Attendees will have multiple interactions with like-minded business professionals across the ecosystem in smaller settings over the course of The Lion’s Den activities.

A variety of veterans, experts, and speakers will provide context and insight for BAM and the faith-driven community. Last year 10 countries from 83 cities (>50% outside Alabama) were represented.

The Lion's Den Main Event

The 6th annual Birmingham event features 3 companies presenting their businesses in front of hundreds, they then answer questions from a panel of experts about their quadruple bottom line: financial, social, environmental, and spiritual impact. An audience of 1,000+ people will vote throughout the event and select which company best survives The Lion’s Den.

All attendees may visit the Exhibit Area from 2-4pm. Tickets are required for entry into the Wright Center.

The Lion’s Den attracts people from all over the world each year since 2014. It is our hope that you are inspired, educated, and mobilized to use your time, talent, and other resources to grow the Faith through Business As Mission (BAM).

The Lion’s Den™ Event is an annual educational event hosted by Cedarworks, Inc. (“Cedarworks”), a nonprofit corporation whose mission is to inspire, educate, and mobilize people to use their time, talents and other resources in business as mission. The Lion’s Den Event brings together innovative companies from around the world that seek to make a financial, social, environmental and spiritual impact through their business venture along with a panel of investment professionals that will evaluate and respond to presentations by each of the participating companies. The Event is intended to be an opportunity to exchange ideas for educational purposes.
